What is My UKOP?

My UKOP is an area of the UKOP website that contains information specific to you, including your search history and profile. To access My UKOP you will need to create a personal profile, including your own personal username and password.

Note – a My UKOP username and password is not the same as a log in username and password. The log in username and password are generic and can apply to an organisation, whereas a profile is unique to an individual.

Why do I need another username and password to access My UKOP?

Only one username and password are issued per subscription to UKOP. This means that if an organisation subscribes, a single username and password will be issued, regardless of the number of individual users licensed to access the website.

Because MY UKOP offers services tailored to the individual user, a separate username and password are required in order to access that individual’s personal profile. Individuals can store their own search histories, and register to receive email alerts in their subject areas of choice, even if they are subscribed as part of an organisation.

How do I create a user profile?
