What is the search history?

Using UKOP’s Search History feature you can save up to 25 searches, enabling you to launch them again, or delete them.

Each entry in the list consists of:
  • A number to indicate the position of a search in the list;
  • A selection of the terms that make up the search (including keyword, title, publisher and publication date);
  • A Submit search link;
  • A Delete Search link;
  • A Replace Search link (but only if the maximum number of saved searches has been reached).

How do I run a saved search?

After you have logged into the Subscribers’ Area:
  • On the Advanced Search page, click on Search history in the left hand navigation bar;
  • You will be asked to log in using your My UKOP profile. Enter your My UKOP user name and password, and click Submit;
  • Your saved searches will be listed in the Saved Searches page;
  • Click the Submit search link next to the search you want to run.
The results of the search will be displayed on the Search Results page.

How do I delete a saved search?

  • Click on Advanced search in the search bar;
  • On the Advanced Search page, click on Search History in the left hand navigation bar;
  • You will be asked to log in using your My UKOP profile. Enter your My UKOP user name and password, and click Submit;
  • You will be taken to the Saved Searches page, where your saved searches will be listed;
  • Click the Delete link next to the search you want to remove from the list.

What happens if I’ve reached the maximum number of saved searches?

If you already have 25 searches saved and you click the Save Search link, you will be shown a list of your saved searches and asked to select one to replace:

  • Your new search will be added to the list in the same place as the one you replaced.
